Make More Music!
Payment for the coming month’s pack of lessons must be made on or before the first lesson of each month. Monthly rates for lessons remain consistent regardless of holiday closures.
Your tuition pays for far more than just lesson time with you or your child.
-Time spent with the student.
-Time spent in preparation for the student (Incentive Programs, trip to the music store, lesson planing, bookkeeping, development of curriculum. For every hour enrolled in music lessons we are investing in at least 2 hours of the teachers time!)
-Written progress reports for each child at least once a year.
-Development of teaching materials, often including pieces composed specifically for your child.
-Music lending library/ necessary materials for every lesson, books, cds etc.
-Teacher's training and experience.
-Recital costs and preparations (programs, facility rental).
-Studio expenses (copying, computer software, instruments, repairs, newsletters, Scheduling, website cost, maintenance and technology).
-Properly taxes, self-employment taxes, insurance, business licenses, retirement)
-Book and Music club memberships.
-Registration fee/Yearly tuition.
Your weekly lesson time has been reserved for you and is unavailable to any other students and it is your responsibility to attend, therefore monthly payment is neither reduced or refunded due to missed lessons for any reason.
Our studio "teaching-schedule" is full, and because each child has a reserved weekly lesson, there is simply not enough time to provide make-ups / extra teaching time in which to give lessons for missed lessons.
If you happen to miss a lesson we will be using that time to assess your child’s progress and to plan activities for your child.
If a student misses a lesson, they will simply miss the benefit of that lesson. Remember that your tuition pays for far more than just lesson time with you or your child. You can also opt to use the Skype or simply call to chat about your child´s progress during the time that is reserved for the student.
So try to choose a lesson time in which you feel confident. Please understand that the tuition you pay reserves an exclusive weekly time in our schedule for you or your child.
The student agrees to arrive on time to their lesson, well prepared and with all their "necessary materials".
Students are encouraged to establish a practice routine, this will allow students to successfully accomplish the weekly assignments and see positive results faster!
